The Herons culinary team masterfully redefines American cooking by infusing classic concepts translated with local, seasonal ingredients and precise technique, brightening each ingredient's flavor and purpose. Select from the three- or four-course prix fixe menu or indulge in the Art Tour Menu, a special chef's tasting menu inspired by The Umstead's art collection. Recently rated five stars by food critic Greg Cox, this unique experience begins with a ceremonial tea service followed by eight delectable courses, each showcasing Executive Chef Steven Greene’s approach to food and driven by his choice and presentation.
