  • Umstead Cuvée Release Dinner

    The Umstead Hotel and Spa is pleased to announce the release of The Umstead Cuvée.   This exclusive wine has been custom blended to The Umstead’s specifications and its acidity and fruit notes beautifully complement our artful cuisine.   Join us for the official release during a special wine dinner on August 4.    Executive Chef Steven Greene, recently recognized by the James Beard Foundation, will discuss the tasting and selection process during a sparkling wine reception.  Then enjoy a 5 course dinner with our signature cuvée paired with the main entrée.  Full menu available here

    Tickets are $145 plus tax and gratuity and can be purchased at 919-447-4050.  Seating is limited, tickets are non-refundable but are transferable.

    Want to cook with our chefs? Join James Beard Semifinalist, Chef Steven Greene at A Southern Season for their Taste of the Triangle series on August 16. Cooking with ingredients straight from our own One Oak Farm, learn new dishes and a few kitchen secrets at this culinary event.

    Tickets are $50 per person and can be purchased A Southern Season. Event begins at 6:00 pm. More information here.
