Chicago Restaurant Pastry Competition

In just a few short days, our pastry chef Evan Sheridan departs for the Windy City! There, he will represent us in the Chicago Restaurant Pastry Competition (CRPC) where four pastry chefs will compete for the top honors.

Now in its fourth season, competitors complete three tasks including a signature plated dessert and a confectionary challenge. Judges, including celebrity guest Mailka Ameen from Top Chef 'Just Desserts', select the ultimate winner on Sunday at the Chicago School of Mold Making in Oak Park, IL.

"I'm excited for the opportunity this competition presents," says Sheridan, "and I'm honored to be representing the hotel and Herons."
