Umstead Uncorked Wine Tasting
Sep 18, 2019toSep 18, 2019The Umstead invites you to join us for the second event in our Uncorked Wine Tasting Series on September 18th. "Pinot Around the World" will be led by Sommelier Troy Revell, giving us a worldwide tour of the popular red variety, Pinot Noir. Join us in the transition to Fall with these light yet thoughtful wines, comparing styles from every Hemisphere.
The tasting will be held in the Fireplace Lounge and begins at 6:00 pm. Tickets are $65 plus tax and service charge and can be purchased at 919-447-4050. Tickets are non-refundable but are transferable.

WINnovation 2019
Sep 20, 2019toSep 20, 2019WALTER Magazine is proud to present the fifth annual WINnovation at The Umstead Hotel & Spa on September 20th. This event celebrates women in innovation through shared wisdom from local leaders embracing the entrepreneurial spirit.
The event begins at 4:00 pm with a startup workshop where all attendees may participate in a collaborative brainstorming session lead by the Council for Entrepreneurial Development and SCORE Raleigh. Then enjoy an opportunity to meet and network with fellow innovators, entrepreneurs, and enthusiasts during a cocktail hour beginning at 5:30 pm. Dinner and the events program begins at 6:30 pm and includes a three-course dinner with wine pairings while listening to the WINnovation speakers as they share their individual experiences and lessons.
