Ranging from 650 square feet to over 1700 square feet, The Umstead suites invite you to relax, unwind and enjoy the spacious accommodations. With features ranging from garden patios, private living rooms and expansive lake-view balconies, your stay in an Umstead suite will provide the utmost in comfort.

The Hideaway Package

The Umstead Wellness Package
Pamper yourself by customizing a Wellness Package that fits your needs with a $200 dollar spa credit (advanced Spa reservations required). Upon arrival to the spa, receive a special amenity compliments of The Umstead Spa. Enjoy a 2:00 pm checkout on the day of your departure to relax or leisurely stroll through the hotel to view our beautiful commissioned artwork.
There is a 20% gratuity added to all spa treatments. Anything above and beyond the $200 credit will be charged to the room. Advanced Spa reservations are required.

Culinary Artist Package
Whisk yourself away on a gastronomic getaway! Check-in to your luxurious accommodations and venture to dinner in Herons, our modern fine dining restaurant. Enjoy the artful five course Chefs Tasting menu, paired exquisitely with wines. The refined American cuisine of celebrated chef Steven D. Greene is as beautiful as it is delicious, presenting classic ideas creatively translated with local ingredients and precise technique. After an evening in the care of Herons enjoy a restful night sleep in your guest room or suite and depart leisurely with a 2pm checkout and complimentary valet parking.
Package includes all charges associated with the five course Chefs Tasting menu with wine pairings including restaurant taxes and gratuity for two diners. Substitutions are not permitted. Dietary restrictions must be noted in advance. Reservations will contact each guest for available times for the dinner reservation in Herons.
