The Umstead Hotel and Spa is pleased to have fine art photographer, Amy Chapman Braun for their current show in The Umstead Art Gallery.

Both a photographer and a batik artist, Braun has displayed her batik work in juried shows at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston, and the Capitol in Washington, D.C., and in a private show at Appalachian State University in Boone, N.C. Her art hangs in numerous private collections across the U.S. It has been featured in Our State magazine and selected for display in the 2007 and 2009 Coastal Living Idea Houses.

The Braun exhibit will remain at The Umstead through June 2013. Interested parties can purchase Braun’s signed limited edition prints through The Umstead Gift Shop.
