Premier Guest Rooms
Every detail in our Premier guest rooms has been refined for your ultimate comfort and pleasure. Overlooking our naturally landscaped grounds, these rooms range from 540 to 570 square feet, and come with your choice of pillow-top beds (one king-sized or two double-sized).
Lake View Rooms
These beautifully appointed rooms offer balconies with a stunning view of our pristine natural environment and three-acre lake. Lake View Rooms range from 540 to 570 square feet, and come with your choice of pillow-top beds (one king-sized or two double-sized).
Umstead Studio Suite
These elegant 785-square-foot suites feature a king-sized bed and a separate sitting area with a queen-sized pull out sofa bed. Adding to the enchantment of these suites is the natural light that pours in through the smoked glass bathroom window.
Umstead Patio Suite
Located on the garden level, these well-appointed 650-square-foot suites feature a king-sized bed with a patio for relaxing and enjoying our woodland setting. These suites are located on the spa and fitness center level and provide easy access to the seasonal heated outdoor pool.
Executive Lake View Balcony Suite
These 922-square-foot suites overlook our three-acre lake and feature one and one-half bathrooms, a private sitting area which can be closed off, a queen-sized pullout sofa and two balcony entrances. Additional features include a king-sized bed and a walk-in closet.
One Bedroom Lake View Balcony Suite
These gorgeously-appointed 1,080-square-foot suites overlook our grounds, fountains, lake and surrounding flora and feature a private sitting area which can be closed off from the bedroom.
Governor's Suite
From its king-sized bed to its 1,210 square feet of luxurious space to its views of our exquisite grounds, this suite provides the ultimate in breathing room. It features a private sitting area that can be closed off from the bedroom, a king-sized bed, a spacious living room featuring original artwork, a walk-in closet and dressing area and direct access to the outdoor lawn, spa, fitness studio and seasonal outdoor pool.
Presidential Suite
Experience the height of luxury in this 1,725-square-foot hotel suite located on the top floor of the Umstead Hotel and Spa near Raleigh, NC. From the moment you walk through its Grand Foyer entrance, you'll find that every detail of comfort has been attended to. From panoramic views of the lake and gardens to the original artwork that dons the walls, it is truly breathtaking in its elegance.
Special features include in-laid wood floors with custom Axminster carpet, fabric wall coverings, silk draperies and pillows, furniture designed in exotic woods, a dining room table that can seat eight, a 50" television, wireless controlled stereo sound system, spacious bathrooms with an oversized whirlpool tub, pantry with a refrigerator and wine cooler, and an expansive balcony with three entrances.
