Beginning September 2nd, 2008 The Umstead Hotel and Spa will offer "Afternoon Tea" served Tuesday through Saturday from 2:30pm to 4:30pm in the hotel's elegant lounge.  Our lounge also offers live harpist performance, the warmth of a fireplace, an outdoor terrace that is just steps away as well as various collections of commissioned artwork from both nationally acclaimed and local artisans.
